Pidgin - Others don't see my font format

Is there anyway in Pidgin to make your text format choice visible to the person you're talking to? Particularly for AIM? I know that when using AIM itself your choice of font will be received in the format you sent it in. However, on Pidgin if you change your font it comes up in the default text when received by someone using AIM. Is there a way to change this? Thanks.
