phpMyAdmin "No databases"

Hello,

I installed phpMyAdmin on my web server, and it's pointing to the MySQL server on another machine in the same LAN.

The problem is that on the left frame, it tells me "No Databases" instead of displaying the list of databases that the user is allowed to access, while the databases are visible from the main frame.

It's simply really not convenient to work like that and I have no clue why it's behaving like this.

Anyone has a suggestion?

Thanks.

David

Read the Documentation.txt file in the phpmyadmin folder.

you have to edit the file config.inc.php to tell the database server,user, password etc

If you do it, phpmyadmin will work neatly.

Follow the documentation.txt instructions.

Solved

I mistakenly set the
Quote:
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['only_db']
as
Quote:
'db1, db2';
instead of
Quote:
array('db1', 'db2', '*');
.

Once replaced, it appears, as expected.

Thanks.
