The list is getting longer, yet I still feel we need more people to sign.... If only we could get it somehow listed in the LQ newsletter....

If we could get those extra 52 people, that'd be great.

The chances of that happening is not very high... only a few of my members even look at my Computer Software and OS forum..

I tried asking the mods and admins, but they were hesitant against the idea. You can follow one of the discussions I had here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=116169

I'm going to start considering when to propose the idea to Macromedia when we start to get over 500 sigs. Until then, I fear it is too weak... On, and please, only sign it once. Multiple times is also destructive...

It's like it says:
Macromedia Flash Player Download Center Linux

The flash player is ported over, but we have no shockwave.

As you can see here:
http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/...ad/alternates/
Even CompuServe has a shockwave player. And only Windows and Mac have Authorware, although authorware players aren't needed as much yet, and we're trying for one step at a time.

This is what I like about Gentoo.

Close Mozilla.

emerge netscape-flash

Open Mozilla

Done
