Can you create a shell script that starts multiple instances of konsole?
For instance:
#! /bin/sh
## this script starts three konsole terminals at once
konsole &
konsole &
konsole &

Actually, I don't like using multiple tabs with konsole. With multiple terminals opened separately, you can switch among terminals with <Alt + tab> easily. The same cannot be done with multiple tabs in the same terminal window, can it?

yes, but i want to see 5 or 6 terminals when I open konsole because i'll probably use them
1- open konsole and open 5 or six terminals
2- go to preference save profile as "myprofile"
3- launch konsole
konsole --profile=myprofile

Aah, nice! I didn't know that trick. Thanks!
Now, one more question... can you invoke a new tab in the same terminal from the command line? Right now, the only way I know of is to click on the "new" icon. I'd like to be able to do it without using the mouse.
