What happened to my post??
Anyway, I got back KDE but the graphics are aweful and the windows are very jumpy should I be editing XFree86Conf or xorg.conf? I am using Slack current and am very confused cuz editing either of them dosnt seem to do anything. Thanks

i assume you are wondering what file to edit to tell your system to use the nvidia drivers.
if so, it is :

What did happen to that post? It is awful big for no content.

/etc/X11/XF86Config or XF86Config-4 if you have that one.
