offlineimap mail sync

Hello all. I'm trying to sync our local office IMAP server to an IMAP server on the internet. First, some testing in my lab yields semi-satisfactory results. For this, I'm using a program called offlineimap. It works all right except in the following scenarios.

1)If a subfolder is created on the remote server, and autorefresh is on,
the folder is not picked up and synced to the local server until the
program is stopped and restarted.

2)deleting the subfolder at the remote end causes the autorefresh
to stop working. Offlineimap has to be restarted.

3)creating a subfolder at the local end has no effect on the remote
end.

Any ideas how to prevent the above from happening? What's going on??
Thanks!

Here's the .offlineimaprc file. It's only for a single user.

[general]
accounts = Test

[Account Test]
localrepository = Local
remoterepository = Remote
autorefresh = 1

[Repository Local]
type = IMAP
remotehost = localhost
remoteuser = final@test.com
remotepass = blah

[Repository Remote]
type = IMAP
remotehost = 192.168.209.2
remoteuser = final@test.com
remotepass = blah
