I'm new to Linux and I'm finding the information overwhelming to say the least. I downloaded "Mandriva Linux 2005 Limited Edition DVD.i586", but I'm having problems figuring out what I need to be burning to get it to work correctly. I'm not sure what I should be trying to burn, because I've tried burning a few different files that were in the install/images/isolinux directory, but nothing has worked. I tried searching the forums, but I don't even really know what I should be looking for as I could be trying to burn files from the wrong folder entirely. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

If you downloaded Mandriva Linux 2005 Limited Edition DVD.i586 you need to burn it as is

What software are you using to burn the iso

Thanks, but I think I found the problem. It was just a copy of the dvd and not an iso file, I'm going to download the iso from one of the sites mentioned on here. Thanks.
