CD/DVD burning
Hi there,
just wondering which tools you are using for burning CD's and DVD's (data as well as audio/video), and how they perform??

Hi.
k3b is (as far as I'm concerned) the best graphical tool for the job. It's better than anything I've seen on Windows, anyway.
On the command line, mkisofs, cdrecord and cdrdao are the only options really.

Cdrtools of course . In when I am in mood and use X11, then I use eroaster. Best for gnome/GTK. Do not want any qt. My box is 100% qt free .

Because I do not use any apps that requires qt libraries. Saves much disk space, and uglyines with look and feel . (My ubuntu looks like almost exactly like OSX.)

No k3b or kuickshow for you then.
Each to his own I suppose.

I use k3b as well because it's the only decent tool for the job without resorting to learning how to use cdrecord directly As much as I'd like to be QT free I can't stand any of the Gtk burning tools.

Why not? try eroaster. it is really easy to use (simplyer than k3b IMHO).
