ndiswrapper command not recognized

I installed ndiswrapper okay, but when I go to install the drivers, it says that ndiswrapper -i is not a recognized command. This is really annoying, and if this is a stupidquestion, I'm sorry, I really am new at Linux

Are you root? Type su to switch to the 'superuser', and try again.
Try typing 'locate ndiswrapper'. If it doesn't come up with anything, it isn't installed properly. If you get /some/path/to/ndiswrapper, copy and paste that on a command line, and try again.

Are you running "ndiswrapper -i <driverfile>.inf" as root or as your normal user?
