MythTV Importing Torrent Recordings

After viewing this artical on EndadgetHD it got me thinking. Why can I do this on my MythTV box?

So i started googling.

First I found this script that grabs the meta data from and adds it to your MythVideo plugin.

This scirpt will do the heaving lifting but i want to insert the data into the recorded table.

Then i found this page that explains how to use

So, the guts of everything is there. Looking over the scripts its a little over my head. But I need to find a way to combine the two and do it all automagically. So when a new file is dumped in a shows directory the script runs doing the following:

move to recording directory
call tvdb_api above to grab show name, des, etc.

Also, as I don't have the channels I am downloading I created a fake channel in the table to assign my recordings to.

Any one willing to help me?
