Music Libraryon Gnome Slack

I use "Music Library" to play my music on my 10.1 slackware (running dropline gnome). I have all my music in a folder called "my music" and all that music is divided into folders by cd. Every single folder has the artist name and album name. Every mp3 file is named with artist name, song name, and track number. Yet somehow I have several cd's that are put into the "unknown" catagory. There are several more cd's in which several of the song title dont show up and instead are called "Track 1" or 2, 3 etc.

If I go into the properties of the file while in music player, I cant change the album, artist, or song title even when logged in as root?

Does anyone know how I can modify this information so I dont have 200 songs in an unknown cd folder and 500 songs called "Track x"
