MS Streets and Trips replacement

I want to put Mandrake on my laptop. The only thing stopping me is MS Streets and Trips. I use it to find client's houses. I can enter my current location and the address I want to get to and it gives me a map and driving directions much like MapQuest only it works completly off-line so I can use it in the car.

Seen any good Linux mapping progs?

I haven't really looked at it, but a quick yahoo search turned up this site:

Cool, thanks. That sounds like a SourceForge project I saw that would be perfect except is was for PDA's.

I really appreciate it.

i am even willing to pay for something, or it could be web enabled...doesn't
matter.

to compile it
