Unhappy mp3c doesn't make mp3's

Hello anyone,

I'm ripping my cd's so I can play them on my computer with mp3c, but mp3c only creates .ogg-files. This makes it impossible to play them on a windows-computer. How do I make real mp3's with mp3c?

you can play ogg files on windows easily, just need the right codec. as for why it won't create mp3's... you are not using it correctly, probably not having an mp3 encoder like lame installed. read their docs for configuration.

Enter the configuration in mp3c by pressing F2, then set it up like you wish. Lame works a charm with mp3c.
