Is there a way to execute a command upon recieving an E-mail to a certian address? I am using Fedora Core 4, soon to upgrade to 5, using POSTFIX as an MTA.
Can postfix use procmail? If so, the answer is yes. For example, if you needed to run a perl script based on a particular recipient name you could use the following in an /etc/procmailrc file:
