Hi
I just installed Fedora Core 4 on a LinuxCertified workstation. Somehow the connection to the internet hasn't happened yet. It seems the upgrade wiped out the driver for the Airlink101 32-bit Wireless Cardbus adaptor AWLC4030 that I was using. Looking at a list (
http://www.atrpms.net/dist/fc4/madwifi/) of device drivers I selected the following:
Oct 03 14:24:34 CEST 2005
madwifi-0.9.6.0-18.rhfc4.at.i386.rpm - A linux device driver for Atheros chipsets (ar5210, ar5211, ar5212).
http://sourceforge.net/projects/madwifi/
How would I go about installing this driver when I don't have internet access to my Linux system? (I'm currently typing this from my Windows partition.) I've completed a ticket asking the madwifi folks about obtaining the driver on disk, but I don't even know how well monitored their site is and when or if I'll get a reply.
If anyone can suggest anything that would be a solution to me getting Linux back online, I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks much,
Tj
