Limewire Freezes up Kanotix

Hi
I installed Limewire on Kanotix 2005-04-RC17. Whenever I try to start up Limewire it freezes Kanotix and I have to reboot the system. To fix the problem I unistalled and then re-installed Limewire but the problem still continues. All other applications work well on Kanotix.

Please help.

Thanks in advance

Satshen

I am using an older version of Java (the one that came with Kanotix - its Java ver 1.4). Will try out the latest version of Java.
