libxul.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory


openSUSE 11.4 64 bit

Wish to install the latest Firefox:

Code:
> tar -xf firefox-19.0.tar.bz2

> cd firefox/

> ls
application.ini             dictionaries      libnss3.so       libssl3.so              run-mozilla.sh

XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /home/dir/firefox/libxpcom.so:

Couldn't load XPCOM.

> file libxul.so 
libxul.so: ELF 32-bit LSB shared object, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, stripped

> locate libxul.so 
/usr/lib64/xulrunner-2.0b12/libxul.so

> sudo cp /usr/lib64/xulrunner-2.0b12/libxul.so /usr/lib/

> ./firefox
XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /home/dir/firefox/libxpcom.so:
libxul.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
Couldn't load XPCOM.

you need to install the 32bit version of the library. The files in lib64/ are not in /lib fora good reason.
