Just copy and paste the hash into a file and tell point john at it.
I am assuming you have a version of 1.6.36 or higher, the manual is at http://www.openwall.com/john/doc/

i put the following into the file 'lmhash' and ran 'john --format=LM lmhash', but it just gives me "No password hashes loaded."

Code:

I just typed john filename and I copied the information you posted into my filename. I let it run for like an hour and didn't get anywhere with it. I don't remember exactly, but my version is 1.7.x

huh. that's odd because I copied that info into a file but john keeps saying "No password hashes loaded" no matter what the parameters. so you just did something like
Code:
echo dts:B9FE50C61430FB93803AB355184DCA7496F8E03420543452AAD3B435B51404EE:13220:0:99999:7::: > filename; john filename
because that does not work for me.
