KDE4 Can't clear/edit Kickoff application launcher search

I can't clear out or shut off document history from showing up in the "Search" box of the Kickoff launcher menu. I think pretty much everyone needs to control what shows up. Is there any way to turn this off?

i.e. doing a search does an intermediate autofill of e.g.
(1) competitor business searches
(2) every scandalous socio-political news article I've EVER read
(3) family financial information sites
(4) family medical, etc.

I'm using kubuntu linux v 3.13.0-27.50 with kde4 (love it) v. 4.13.0, and v 1.0 of the Application Launcher (lower left corner).

All I did was import stuff from the home computer. But it put EVERYTHING on my business laptop.

Current workaround is to use the "traditional" Applicaction Launcher widget without the search box. I used "Sweeper" on Nepomuk. What else do I need to worry about?

Hey Lxstu

It would seem they can be removed by right clicking on them individually and choosing some variation of "remove from list"

I wonder what I'm doing wrong. I type in some word into the search box, and it fills with all the documents (that I don't want to see). How do I "remove from list"? I can't drag. Right click doesn't bring up a menu. The keyboard "del" button doesn't do anything. Is there something I must turn on to let me edit this list?

Thanks in advance for your help.

When you ran sweeper, did you look at "your privacy settings"->general and check "clear recent documents" ?
