KDE 3 Libraries

I'm trying to install some software that is dependent on KDE 3 libraries (namely Rosegarden) but I'm not sure where to find the library files or how to install them. If someone could help me with this I would be very thankful. I'm running Gnome on openSuSe 10.2. Thanks a lot.

Probably you have to install:
Quote:
rosegarden4
kdelibs3
kdelibs3-devel
To do this, under GNOME in the start menu look for Install/Remove Application (or something similar, I don't know since I'm using KDE) and in the search tab, look for the above packages. Check them and apply. This kind of installation is the most user friendly and takes care of all the dependencies.

I went to install Rosegarden 4 and I think it's installing the KDE libraries as well.

Installing kdelibs3-devel, kdelibs3 will be installed as a dependency... together with a lot of other packages, I guess. But Rosegarden is the software you are trying to install compiling from source? Why don't simply install the RPM?

PS - Seen your last post... you already found it. That's good!
