kde 3.3 not a good idea

those of you who always like to get the newest. The newest is not always the best...

i recently installed slackware-current - yippeee i though. I got KDE 3.3 now! Then i looked on kde-look to try to get a MacOSX theme. No luck. Most of the themes are for 3.2. Couldn't get many themes at all.

My advice, wait a bit until more themes are written for KDE. If you don;t care about themes, then go ahead and upgrade

Most KDE 3.2 themes work on KDE 3.3x. Did you try to install any of them coz I have never had this problem that you have just described. Also why would one care more about themes than improvements to the desktop environment and all those quashed bugs.

I tried to install the serenity theme, didn't manage it, it kept complaining missing some X-Header include files....
