K3b doesn't like my files


hi,

I have K3b on my machine to burn CDs.
Everything works just fine exept for New Audio CD
If I wanna ad songs in mp3 it says:

Unable to handle the following files due to an unsupported format
<here the filelocation>

how is it possible to burn mp3's as an audio disk?

Hey man,

I see you have FC3, and that is good and bad! Good/cool because it is a great distribution for all the bleeding edge software, and bad because it avoids the courtroom (as it should) by not putting some things in the distro. MP3 support is one of those things, unfortunately, and so to burn mp3's into an audio CD you have to have LAME installed. You should also install the FC3 mp3 packages. I can't remember the exact name for the packages, but i think they might even have K3B mp3 support packages (in RPM format) to download and install. Query or google 'k3b-mp3'.

I just yumed it
yum install k3b-mp3

and now it works
