issues with the tbird profiles during a opensuse-upgrade

good day

having issues with the upgrade of opensuse from version 12.3 to 13.1

now i canot store any thing - any draft
nor i cannot fetch any mail

some thing is broken

Well considering the upgrade i guess that i would have to move the profile per http://kb.mozillazine.org/Moving_you..._-_Thunderbird

Hmm - well i will investigate further - but on a first step i had a quick view on the versions i run on opensuse 13.1

KGpg Version 2.10.1
Unter KDE 4.11.3

Thunderbird 24.2.0

how to check enigmail verison via console?

With the man in the console or the package manager to list it and so you will be able to see what version it is.
Many programs have the option -v, to see the version in the console, but it doesn't work for all of them.
Example, type in the console:
