install packages via ftp


ok this is my 10 0000 th thread in the last 10 mins

this one is for any one familiar with mandrake
i was wondering if there is a way to install packages via ftp using the software management tool in mandrake ?

yes. you have to setup the ftp sources. Go to
http://plf.zarb.org/~nanardon/urpmiweb.php
for instructions on how to do it and a list of ftp repositories.
