HTML && scripting

Hey all.

Friend of mine asked me a question:

"How do I parse a table of information, and have it xported to a M$ DOC?"

Well, I told him to write a script or look for one.
Basically, he's running XP or 2K, and using FrontPage (newest version i think)

He has created a page that a user can query a database table for info. After that, he wants the user to be able to click a button and have it export it to a M$ DOC or at least print the table contents.
Currently, it prints the entire page. Grafx included.

Any suggestions?

P.S. he wanted to use java or VB; i suggestion perl or even C for this one.
