Help pls with Mail Sending from Evo via Exim on remote server

Hi,

I have a remote server that I admin via ssh, running my web server with apache2 and using Exim4 and IMAP as well as a working squirrelmail install.

I can receive mail on my local gentoo client using evolution - well, really anything, but I can only send mail to accounts local to the server itself.

So I think that squirrelmail works for me without worrying because it is generating outgoing email from the localhost but when I try to send from evolution I am relaying??

What setting do I need to change to allow me to send mail to the world from my notebook evolution via my webserver?

Help urgently appreciated

Will

This is what I see in the exim4 log when I try to send:
Code:
2007-01-29 19:04:11 SMTP connection from [61.9.###.###]:64177 I=[72.21.###.##]:25 (TCP/IP connection count = 1)
