Help in setting up Gateway, DHCP and DNS Server

Can someone help me in configuring the Gateway, DHCP and DNS Server? I am new to Linux and I have done configuring it in Windows. I don't have any idea on how to do it in Linux. Is there step-by-step tutorial to this one? Hope you can help me on this one. Thanks

Code:
dhclient eth0
will get you online real quick. Or if you want changes to be permanent, edit /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-etho and make BOOTPROTO=DHCP
