Hard disk

I would like some advice on using hdparm. I have determind the best setting for my hard disk and would like to set it up to use the same settings every time my omputer boots. The advice I would like concerns the best way to do this. I have learned that there is usually more than one way to do things with linux and that some are better than others. What would be some of the best ways to set my hard drive parameters every time my computer boots?

You can put hdparm settings at the end of rc.local or rc.sysinit. I have to put hdparm settings at the end of rc.sysinit because it seems rc.local comes first then rc.sysinit comes next. It depends what distribution you are using.

Thank's Electro. I have tried them in the rc.local, but was just I was looking to make sure there was not overlooking a better place. I am still open to suggestions. I will try the sysinit.
