Got RealPlayer installed but it doesn't run. Path?

websites that open realplayer say:

"Could not find an appropriate hxplay or realplay in the system path to use as an embedded player"

Should there be a path to the executable? Should there be a symlink to it in some directory that already has a path?

Thanks.

How did you install RealPlayer? If you used the bin file, you should have accepted the option to create symlinks so that RealPlayer is in your path. You can create the symlink yourself by doing something like
Code:
#ln -s /usr/local/RealPlayer/realplay /usr/local/bin/realplay
