gnumeric chart does not respond

Running Mandrake 8.2, Gnumeric
There are 3 columns of numbers on my spreadsheet
When any combination of these is selected and the Chart icon is pressed nothing happens

I'm no gnumeric expert, but is this what you are trying to do? If so, check to see that guppi is installed. It may need to be re-installed.

Thanx - that did the trick. I got fooled by the documentaation. It implied [to me] the icon would show only if guppi was installed.
