generic packet error with Kopete

Anyone has this problem, "generic packet error : rate to server "
when your trying to do and info check on your ICQ contacts.
And is there any easier way to set Kopete to automatically display ICQ contacts in their nickname (alias) rather than the UIN numbers.

And a sidenote, anyone has problems connecting to MSN with any IM clients
