Wow, lucky you!

I'm just gonna take a stab at this. Something in Kopete disagreed with library's in use by KDE, and some sort of error got thrown. Was this an install, or just opening it up, or during use? Does Kopete freeze, terminate, something else? when that happens (if this was during normal running) or what else happens? I'm not versed in the function calls of KDE, but thats the best guess i have. try (if its not too much trouble) reinstalling Kopete, and if this happenned during install, re-download it, maybe have been a corrupt file or something. Like i said, this is just a stab, someone with more kde knowledge could prove me totally wrong. I googled a bit and found 2 german threads in difference boards that mention kde's bugs site, and messing with kde's plugins configuration. s'about it. you can try that, good luck, sorry i couldnt help more.
