ok, im currently using the reiserfs filesystem thingie, it works fine- i guess. what im wondering is; whats the best one? whats the difference between them all?
Well since you bored, might want to search the forums, as I know once upon a time a long time ago there was a thread I think in Linux - General that had a big long discussion of what filesystem peeps used and arguing over which one was best, as your going to get a lot of opinions on a topic like this one.
Also, this isn't really Slackware specific so I'm moving to Software where its more suitable.
They all got their weak and strong points.It depend on what your machine is used for.That stuff is all over google.Just search for ext2/3 jfs reiserfs xfs comparison.
