TC + PPP0 waiting for device to become free, usage count bla bla bla

Hi

I often use TC to improve the quality of some traffic on my LAN, over my PPP link.

The problem is, if the link goes down, I have to reboot my server to get the link back up because it just forever waits for the usage count or something on the ppp0 link to go down.

I have tried MANY things. Removing all the tc rules before it goes down, after, and I dont know what else.

Nothing works. The only thing that works is not using tc. But I really need it to keep the pings down on some traffic!

Does anyone know of a way to make it work?

This is a stock Suse 9.1.
