ext2, ext3, resiser's. BLA BLA BLA!!
ok, im currently using the reiserfs filesystem thingie, it works fine- i guess. what im wondering is; whats the best one? whats the difference between them all?
thanks guys.. (im bored) |
Well since you bored, might want to search the forums, as I know once upon a time a long time ago there was a thread I think in Linux - General that had a big long discussion of what filesystem peeps used and arguing over which one was best, as your going to get a lot of opinions on a topic like this one.
Also, this isn't really Slackware specific so I'm moving to Software where its more suitable. Regards. |

They all got their weak and strong points. It depend on what your machine is used for. That stuff is all over google.Just search for ext2/3 jfs reiserfs xfs comparison.

As requested thread moved to the software forum as it wasn't Slackware specific.
