E-Mail Server

This is going to be an opinion question, so don't start flaming in this thread please.

Is it easier to setup an e-mail server on a Slack or Debian box?

I'm looking for a Postfix + Mysql type of setup so as to make user maintenance as easy as writing simple web-pages.

99% of the network this server will support consists of Outlook based e-mail clients. This network will also serve 3 domains of e-mail and a total of about 50 users.

J

(I only asked here b/c I've been trying to get Postfix + Mysql + Cyrus Imap working on a slack box, and a debian box with little success)
