Dvd access issues

Currently I have a windows xp machine and a mandriva 2006 running kde3.4 in my office. The only computer that has a DVD-rw drive is my linux system. I have this drive mapped to drive Z on the windows machine. The problem is that it can't see encrypted DVD disk (non encrpted regular cdrw's I can see and access)? In konqueror I can't see the files on the disk either VIDEO_TS. But, I can play them with xine without problems. I would like for the windows machine to be able to use the dvd burner as it was it's own or at least be able to access encrypted dvd to play movies on my windows box. any ideas ? Thanks. Plus I would like to be able to see the files in my file manager (konqueror) ?

You need libdvdcss2, its PLF for Mandriva so you should watch out cause its illegal primary in the United States. But you should be able to view the directory with the files in it the only thing you should notice is that the mpeg-2 video is scrambled. View your files /etc/fstab and make sure it says users and user to be able to access and view the folder.

Here is what mine looks like for my DVD/RW

/dev/hdc /mnt/cdrom auto umask=0022,user,iocharset=8859-1,codepage=850,noauto,ro,exec,users 0 0
