Been trying to get this working for several days now, and i cant seem to solve it.
Using kernel 2.6.9
Driver version 6111
the nvidia driver compiles fine, but when i startx i get

If i run lsmod the module isnt loaded, so i load it with modprobe nvidia
then lsmod

startx again and i get the same error. Anyone any clue to why?
