Well.... I tell my cousin NOT to try to install Linux until i give him some step by step instructions... but he did anyway and appearently erased windows, so he now has a linux only box
. Anyway, I've never had this problem because I never used dial up in linux, so I don't know how to help him. I tryed suggesting opening a browser and typing in a URL, and hopefully a dial up connecting prompt would connect him (like in windoze), but it didnt. So now, simply put, He needs to connect to the internet in Linux Mandrake 9.2, in KDE, on dial up. He's noobish to linux as it comes, and he needs a simplified gui type application to connect him, BUT, if there is only a way to do if from a command for the konsole, I'll try to explain it to him.
Thanks!
