Hi HackerAngel
If you're trying AmigoXP, check out here:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=332617
and see if that helps. If you're using Amigo2, it just slid in for me, not a problem of any kind.
Hope this helps,
Mike (pacranch)

The bare.i boot floppy should work, although there is a boot floppy image for Amigo-2.0 on the download page also which has more options turned on.
To set up a dial-up connection, run ispsetup and answer the few questions, ISP phone#, username, and password and the port location of your modem. You should be able to find this out by looking at the /etc/sysconfig/amigo and /etc/sysconfig/hwsetup files.
Then, to manage the connection, use ppp-on and ppp-off. Do this first (briefly!)as root to test.
You can use yawmppp to make/break and monitor the connection as well.

When you get back to trying to go online, do the pppsetup one. I had nojoy with ispsetup (my ISP uses static DNS), so maybe that's it. Be sure to know your static DNS, pppsetup requires them and some ISP's do too.

O.K. I have the PPP installed. Go to run ppp-go and get an Connect Script Error message. What does that mean? and also where do I check to see if it is detecting my modem right?

can you tell me what "terminating on signal 2." means? Because I have a feeling my modem isn't being found by Amigo...
