Unhappy converting multicast messages in to unicast messages in linux


Dear gurus

How we can convert multicast messages in to unicast messages in Linux

We have one aplicatio that acting as listener only

Kindly advise on this situation

You edit the IP headers.

But packets are multi-cast for a specific reason, not just randomly. It's not like you'd have FTP or TELNET be done multi-cast. There are specific uses for it.

Either case, you change the destIP address to be unicast, which means you'd need to be able to edit the headers.
