Question Cedega?????


I want to use Cedega (WineX) but I have no idea on howto make this possible. Can someone please tell me where to download it and howto install it.

very greatful for an answer.

Go to www.transgaming.com and subscribe. You can get a short subscription for a few dollars. Or use the CVS version - but there is no guarantee that this will work.

Ive been there but I cant seem to find a download, Im not going to pay for a program that I can get for free =)
frankscorner.org if you click on WineX/Cedega you will find information on howto install CVS whatever that is, thats what I want to do..
send me a link or something, I suck att googling

There's some good howtos and guides at linux-gamers.net on CVSCedega, and just out of curiosity... what game you want to install?

I want to install HL2 Counter-strike:source Counter Strike1.6...
Stalker on release and some more goodies =)

I'll check out linux gamers.

Hrmm... I had some negative results attempting to install Steam using Cvscedega, however you might make it, if so do please share your success story.

sure thing, one more thing though:

on the website http://www.linux-gamers.net/modules/...?articleid=45, under the preparations I clicked on the link to
download the script, but the script is only a few kbs!!!
that cant be right?
can you tell me wich files is needed?

The script itself is small indeed, once you run it the script will download the files you need. Tip: there's gonna be a password query, type CVS or cvs.

ok, that will take a while since my PPP daemon seems to have died during wine installation :P
Im right now on my dads discusting Win XP comp..
