Don't pirate Linux software...
It's antithetical to the whole FOSS thing, using a free OS because it's allowed. Otherwise, to run Windoze games, you'd just use a cracked version of Windoze XPee...
Cedega works. Trust me. The WineX version 3.3.2 works well too.

To be honest, I don't know you, however, I'm going to go out on a limb here and hope I don't cause offence, none intended
Either:
1) You wish to obtain the Cedega packages without paying for them <full stop>
That is your choice, however, I doubt anyone here will help you do that, you'll have to help yourself on that one. I doubt it's particularly hard to get a cedega package as well - still, your choice.
OR:
2) You want Cedega and don't mind spending $15
Yes, unfortunately you don't have a credit card. However, where there is a will, there is a way - Ask a friend, a family member or a colleague to buy it for you and pay them cash (more than $15 if required). I have serious doubts as to you not being close to anyone with a credit card.
Of course, you could still get it free by following the instructions at FranksCorner.org, yes, you are building from CVS but it's not that hard - if you run into any problems, we'll help :)
Cedega:s cvs version doesn't have the proprietary stuff you will need for some things to work, like cd copy protection in some games. For example cvs version can't read the real wc3 cd which is _really_ a problem since you will have to use a crack to go to battle.net and risk getting banned. I'm a satisfied subscriber and warcraft3 at least works perfect and I propably get a better fps in linux than windows. And it's fun to be able to influence what they work on (they have a vote system)
U know what guy? U should realy look into geting urself "teenbux" from B of A (Bank of america) Its a real visa card, and it goes through ur parents banking account. U just have to have ur parents call up the BofA to say "put this amount in please" and so forth and ull have ur money in no time, but ull have to $15 dollars a year. Its realy not a problem at all, im sure u can make that amount of money at ur age, (whatever age that is of course) heres the link to it. http://www.bankofamerica.com/teenvisa/ Go ther to learn more about it.
AND OF COURSE u can just recieve the copy of WineX (not cedega, yet, its kinda slow on updating ther packages, but itll get ther) here http://www003.portalis.it/115/tb43hf...4jreoihde.html Ther compiled CVS WineX's for free, and its legal, just its not always UP TO DATE.
