cannot boot into linux ?


hi folks,

1. after installing caldera v 1.3 ; when i select linux native to boot
into , its fails .

i am using muti-boot .

any solutiuons ?

2. during the installation , i can not configure the LILO boot manager because the sectors exceed 1024 .


so, what can i do next ?

There are ways around the 1024 sector limitation.

Take a look at the following howto:

You might be better off just getting a more recent distro, the 1024 limit has been fixed for a while now, and using such an old distro will expose you to numerous security holes that have been patched since caldera 1.3.
