I seem to have a problem when trying to compile ecasound





I'm running Slack 8 with kernel 2.4.5





I've tried with ecasound versions 2.0.3 and 2.0.4, and i got the same problem in both of them.





After i run the configure script, i run make as usual but it gets stuck there. It seems like "make" can't make one specific file:





/libs/eca-iamode-parser.lo





I realize this is surely a problem of my own but maybe someone has already been in this same situation.





If someone knows a solution or has some crazy theory i'd like to hear it (or read it...)
