build kernel with LVM support

Hi all:

Got RH7.2 with 2.4.7-19 kernel. Trying to build in LVM support. Have downloaded and applied patch as directed and everything proceeds smoothly until I make bzImage. At this stage I am getting the following errors:

fs/fs.o : In function `fsync_dev_lockfs'
undefined reference to `sync-supers_lockfs'

drivers/md/mddev.o: In function `lvm_do_lv_create'
undefined reference to `unlockfs'

Do I need updated fs.o and mddev.o files?

Many thanks
