Blackbox - window positions
hey guys
these past few days ive been using blackbox, and love it. but ive just got a few questions which i cant seem to find answers to on google.
blackbox version 0.65.0
is there anyway to add commands to the menu so that the program starts at a current position on the screen?
eg Eterm -position=x,y ?
and can you set maximum maximised size, by that i mean, can you set the maximum size the window goes when the maximise button is pressed?
and one last question, can you have transparent windows in Etern in BB?
ive tried Eterm -O --shade 80% but no luck.
Thanks alot
Kane

this may well not really be the answer you were after, but i'd suggest you try fluxbox. it's a fork of the slightly older 0.62 code, but has been developed far beyond what blackbox can do. for a long time i stuck with bb because of it's simple principles, but fluxbox does do everythign blackbox can do, and still looks totally identical if you want it to. however if you don't want it to, it can do all sorts of transpancy stuff and remembers window positions etc...
