auto mount?


everytime i start redhat, i have to remount my windows partition with the command

mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /mnt/win

is there a modifier that i can put on there to make it automount on boot?

It's actually something you'll need to add to your /etc/fstab file. Something similar to:
/dev/hda1 /mnt/win vfat auto,users,umask=000,rw 0 0
Should work.

However, for more info either do a search on the site, or read the man page on mount.
