I have some how-to for mds on Centos 5.x, I need this packages to be setup first:

apache+php
redhat-lsb
python-twisted
python-ldap
python-libacl
python-psycopg
postgresql-python
mx
python-twisted-web
PyXML
python-fpconst
python-soap
php-xml
php-xmlrpc

Your ldap must be already running without any issue.
disable samba+mail+network+proxy plugins, just test the base plugin first.

I don't know about the -f flag, u can run the service manually,

/usr/local/sbin/mmc-agent -d

After a few changes and reconfiguring some files I finally got mmc-agent to load the modules, but I can’t login to the mmc web page. Here is the mmc-agent.log it shows a program exception error and some INFO about ; Selecting provisioners: None and Selecting computer manager: none. Does anybody has try to install and configure MMC-Agent on Debian lenny 5.04 . I really don’t know where to look for a solution any ideas. Thanks.
