How do i start Korganizer and its reminder agent when ever i start up the X-window desktop?
I am running RH-9 Gnome desktop with both gnome and kde stuff installed.
is there an equivlent of the DOS autoexec.bat file for the linux X-windows desktop?
I know that KDE does have an autostart-feature,
not familiar with Gnome, though. You could, however,
create a .xsession / .xinitrc file in your home that
starts that app before Gnome (which one to chose
depends on how you log-in).
I have a shell window automatically opening when I log in. The way I found to do that is to logout from KDE while apps are still open. I also have the "Restore previous session" option selected in kcontrol -> KDE Components -> Session Manager.
